So basically use opposites:
1. Moisturise skin well so it's hydrated.

2. Use a matte/oil control primer with dewey foundation.
OR
a moisturising primer with a matte foundation.

3. Set both options with hairspray- like setting spray.

I have dehydrated dry to combo skin and I pair a glow foundation (satin/semi matte finish) with a hydrating primer and I set the base with just a little powder where needed, and set everything with a moisturizer mist first and then a good setting spray, in case this can help someone🤗🤗🤗

Thanks for these tricks. My skin is usually dry but after applying foundation within an hour my face gets so oily. I hope this trick helps. My current products never help with my skin oiliness

YES!! i found this out with the elf halo glow because i wanted to use it as a foundation. It has the perfect, skinlike, soft glow finish when i set it with my powder. So nicce.

I do something like this with my Estée Lauder Double Wear. Hydrate the heck out of my skin and add a light primer. Except I mix a bit of Missha BB cream and a drop of glowing serum to the foundation. Makes my skin look like porcelain!
