Configure L2TP Access on UniFi Security Gateway Router!

Configured my UniFi Security Gateway Router with L2TP VPN access, so I could connect to my ESXi servers. In the past, I had port forwarding configured to access it, but that's a huge No! No!

Hi there, thank you for the video, followed your instructions but when i tried to connect my laptop (outside network) via the newly created VPN I receive the following error message "The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer." What did I do wrong? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This does not work on Windows 10 Pro 1909. I have read every post on the topic and still no joy.

If your client is outside behind a nat you have to set an Regkey in win7-10
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PolicyAgent, Valuename AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule, Value DWord32=2

Great video, but the sound is very poor. It would help greatly if you had a better mic. Thanks for the info.
