Thanks for putting this together. I know the video was 7 months ago, but this is so, so easy now in Unifi 3.x on the UDM Pro too. I set up with Unlocator. It wasn't needed previously, but as the ISP switched to a weird public but not really public IP (i.e. there is a public IP inside the country, but a different public IP from outside the country), the normal way broke. I am hopefully able to get this going soon and have my FireTV work properly again :)

Hi Cody, I see that you can add multiple VPN servers to the list. Is there a way that when one server cannot be reached it will go to another one that can? 2 servers would be great, even more would be amazing!

Hey Cody - love the videos, always super helpful and insightful. Curious if it's possible to connect to ExpressVPN (or another service like IPVanish) using the wireguard client on UDMPro instead of OpenVPN. Any thoughts on the config steps needed to achieve this?

I just got os3 on udm pro se today. I tried this but without creating new networks just creating rule and select target device on lan that want to route over vpn and the interface as the vpn but doesn’t work do you have to create a separate network and ssid for this like u showed as seems bit odd you can create route without it?

Any recommendations for a UDR not routing traffic through the vpn after following this setup?

Running a trace route via Cmd shows 3rd hop as vpn. NordVPN and Google show sites ip address and not the vpns. NordVPN also states unprotected.

Hi Cody, thank you for sharing such a great video. I have a question for you regarding Express VPN. How can I fix the leak test issue? When I tested my connection, Express VPN notified me that my DNS is exposed. I have heard that this can happen when you connect to the VPN service without using their software. Can you please advise on how to resolve this? Thank you.
