Bit unfair comparing to an aged UNO. Could you do a comparison to a ESP8266 / ESP32

Probably 99% the stuff people start making with the Pico in Python, will run as good on the UNO when coded in C++.

Maybe better compare against ESP32 :) ... but How would you programm the pico? which IDE, which Toolchain?

One design flaw of the Pico is that they printed the pin labels on the BOTTOM so you can't see the labels. You can reverse the pins but then you lose access to the button.

The cool thing of arduino is to build our own customized boards. I have many gadgets with atmega micros laying around at home. I dont think i could ever do the same thing with rp

In fact the comparison of the Arduino board (> 10 years old) with this new Rpi Pico is a bit unfair.
The Arduino Pro Mini has about the same specs as the UNO board and cost about 2$ (some running @ 32 Mhz).
I however have to admit that this Rpi Pico board seems to bring much value for a very sharp price.

Physically arduino have 1 ADC. It's multiplexed but can measure 1 by 1 analog input using 1 ADC.

if we compare raspberry to stm32(price/specs) - stm32 will win. raspberry is good in high freq soc, but up to 480 mhz stm32 is a leader.
