Bro... I am a guy who likes to figure crap out for my self, mostly because I learn and retain information better that way. But there are so many times where I am pulling my hair out (on day 14 of learning this amazing and frustrating tool), and I come to your channel to find an answer. I am not sure I have watched an entire video start to finish, but I have watched most of most of your davinci videos, and I am very thankful for them. You are amazing, keep it up.

I always need stills from my clips. This is such a useful tip, especially when you added the crop node, that will have me opening the Fusion page in every project, whether I need a Fusion comp or not! Thanks for fighting through the mystery process to share it with us. ⭐x5

I've been using the windows snipping tool to do this because I couldn't find a way to do it from within DR. Thanks Casey, you've helped me a lot with this and your other videos.

Nice tip. Problem is the saved image file doesn't match the managed color within Resolve. Is there a tutorial explaining how to fix this?

Dude. This is such a simple thing that I have not been able to figure out! Can you show us how to take another shot from our edit and bring it in as a reference to match work we are doing on a similar shot within Fusion?

To save files on the desktop like a pro remember to name it unnamedfile

How do you export it with fusion color adjustments? It's only giving me the flat image (log)

My image exported, even before any adjustments, is way darker when I bring it back in regardless of file format and even before I do any Photoshop work. I see there are other comments about this. Has anyone discovered the reason for this, or the solution? I'm Resolve 18.6 on Mac.

The makers of Fusion should be embarrassed! Not you. They leave out some mind numbingly useful actions that could easily be incorporated. Thanks for this. Someone else on Youtube showed how to do it in the Color page. Two steps. This is one step. Much better. Now if they could just add -Right Click> Copy Image- there will be a ton of other things I could do easily.

When I try this it comes out way darker than on my Fusion page... I really messes up my retouching the still in photoshop and bringing a masked part of it back into Fusion. Anybody know what I am doing wrong? Color settings?

Well thats exactely the thing with D.R. Things could be in front of your eyes, but you still need a ‘puzle worth’ of investigation to figure it out!

think i tried it that way but didn't get the alpha, maybe because i did not specify png as filetype but just named it xxx.png?
