Learn how to export out an image, including transparency, from the Fusion page within DaVinci Resolve. Details below...

Within the Fusion page scrub through the timeline to find a frame to export. Right mouse click in a viewer and choose Save Image. Set a file name and a location. Set the format option to PNG for an image which retains any transparency.

If the image doesn't export out immediately, try switching to another page, such as the Edit page, and that should trigger the export.

Thanks for the useful video. I can't believe the images don't save until you switch pages.

Thank you for the tip of 'going back to edit'!! Mine was not saving image from Fusion until I clicked back on edit page. I was so frustrated!

In davinci resolve 18 on mac, the switching of tabs does not seem necessary
