If you want to 3D print your model made in Fusion 360 then you need to export an STL file. This can be tricky with complicated models to only export the part you want. This video shows how to select the component that you want to export and how to change the STL resolution to get smooth file.

Very helpful -- THANKS!
But how did you get the black background in you STL file??? I get white model on white background -- very hard to see. Thanks again.

when I go to file -> 3D print the menu pops up on the side of the screen, but there are some other options on it as well. There are also Format and Unit Type. And when I go through and make the selections that you made my "OK" never becomes an option to select. This is driving me crazy, I'd appreciate any help you can give me, I can tell when I watch you go through your video that you know what you're doing and I clearly have no idea what I'm doing yet. I finally finished my project and now all I need to do is print it.
