10 Hacks to make ASIAN Food & Snacks BETTER

Find out 10 things you didn't know you could do with popular Asian snacks and food that might just change your life.

Some of these snacks and foods we grew up with, and some we picked up along the way from relatives and chefs. But, for the most part, we ate these growing up, as they are easy, yummy and super convenient.

Pork floss on buttered toast is a super simple Chinese breakfast food that we ate frequently, or we would also sometimes throw some pork floss into our congee for breakfast. A winner for kids!

Furikake on toast with avo is a new one we discovered and a super quick and tasty Asian snack that requires hardly any effort.

Another Chinese breakfast idea or snack to cure your sweet tooth is mantou (steamed bun) with sweetened condensed milk. Alternatively, a popular Asian snack recipe for dessert is to buy a packet of roti and dip it into the condensed milk. So, so good!

Our favourite is with combo of sugar + salt + fresh cut chilli. So good!
As Indonesians we also eat fresh fruits with belachan sauce (mix of belachan, palm sugar, and chilli), even better than the sugar+salt haha

I always have toast and butters, so having these extra toppings would change things up. I haven't had condensed milk since I lived with my parents. I seriously have never seen most of this. If you had Cafe Tina, I would check it out. I like rice, I like tuna, but never with Tabasco sauce - I don't know why I never tried that.
