Thing is you gotta be careful with plastic. When heated, or if too old, some plastic can become poisonous, or at least not good for the body. So drinking out of it or permanently reusing it for food (mayonnaise etc) would not be good. Or at least thats how it is here.

The avocado pink dye works...but you first need to dye the boiling water with the avo peel and add a bit of vinegar, otherwise it will be uneven colour
