I usually get motivated, start a new project, remember that my building skills suck, attempt it anyways, _confirm_ that my building skills suck and then give up lol

Been working on the same world for 7 years (started when I was 11) and I’ve had hundreds of people join and add their own little touch, that’s what’s kept me motivated for 7 years.

All important points he made: (that I remember lmao)

-Start with small goals
-Play minecraft how you like to play
-DONT let others tell you how to play minecraft
-Make a map room to keep track of your progress
-Play at your own pace
-Have a goals board at your base
-it’s about the journey

I really needed this. Lately I've lost motivation in playing this wonderful game and I haven't really looked into why, turns out I was totally rushing everything and trying to build a huge masterpiece in a small amount of time. It's okay to take things slow and start off small, even if that's not what you want right away it still keeps the creative flow going until the day!

"All these youtubers, are building all of these large projects"

Says the guy building an entire mountain range, 5 villages/cities, a valley, terraformed ocean, etc.

Step 1: Take a break from Minecraft.
Step 2: Play it again when you feel motivated.
Step 3: You're welcome.

1:45 THANK you!! Everyone trash talks me for playing with Keep Inventory. I enjoy survival but losing all my stuff demotivates me completely. I die in lava or my elytra breaks over the void?? I lose everything, including my patience. I would love to play on a server so I could show people cool things I might build, but I’m a Bedrock player :). The closest thing to a server that I can get is a friend’s multiplayer world, and I can’t even do that because mine won’t connect to others and others can’t connect to mine. I feel like if I had any way to show people or work with people I would be much more motivated to make huge things.

I used to be a creative mode "giant castle with a 25 block high door and no perspective" kind of player, but since finding your channel I've been doing smaller builds in a single survival world, and enjoying it much more, so seriously, thank you for that.

I always tell my boyfriend the thing with the "there is no right or wrong way to play" he always feels kinda bad if he has to set a game on easy because he just doesn't has the time anymore to play like he did before, I told him that he plays to have fun and if to have fun he has to set a game on easy then who cares? People always take those things so seriously, it's a game, as long as you have fun and you don't destroy somebody else's fun you are doing everything right!

This is the first video I'm seeing from fWhip and I have to say I really love how thoroughly he radiates chill and positivity throughout the video, whether it's through his voice, his behavior or through the subject matter. And on top of that this little world tour of sorts shows his skill as a builder every step of the way... I'll definitely have to check out the let's play. :)

Even a few years after coming out, this video has helped me. I've been stuck doing random different things in my survival world and not really seeing any progress but this video got me back on track and now I'm enjoying it more than ever.

My new years resolution was to gain weight and I've lost 14 pounds. Reverse psychology really does work

I really like the start, building your first base, getting first food, setting your spawnpoint and finding your first diamonds! It feels like a new start and reminds me that I won't be good at everything, I won't spawn with full netherite armour and...that's alright. I take small steps and slowly get better, reaching the top

starting the video by saying "set a goal for yourself, not like the new year's resolutions that you give up after 3 weeks" is a great intro
