“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”

My favorite quote from "Atomic habits.

“It does cast a vote” I LOVE THIS!!! This could really be a gamechanging distinction if implemented.

“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you want to become. If you can master your actions and habits, you’re casting votes for the type of person you want to be.” So incredibly powerful.

"The cost of your good habit is in the present and the cost of your bad habit is in the future, and the fact that we prioritize the present over the future ends up making a lot of habit change difficult for that reason"

Bad habits in short run looks good
In long they are unfavorable and bad
Good habits in short run looks very hard to be done
In long run they are favourable and good for life

Set habits you want to have as smallest possible actions to remove barrier to taking action e.g. want to become a book reader, start by reading just one word every day, then one sentence a day, then one page a day - consistency is the key, do a little but consistently over a long time
