▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Admiral Yularen proposed a surgical strike that unfortunately predicted heavy collateral damage to Kudon civilians. Anakin Skywalker, drawing from his experience and strategic insight, suggested a two-pronged assault. However, Yularen argued that approach would risk the lives of too many clone troopers. After Anakin discussed both attack plans with Obi-Wan Kenobi, his master encouraged him to trust his instincts. Leaving alone for the droid factory, Anakin arrived to discover no defenses and no sign of the Kudon people. Inside, Anakin found the last thing he expected - the Kudon were being used as slave labor to construct Separatist battle droids. Fueled by righteous fury, Anakin freed the slaves and empowered them to fight back against their droid masters. Back on the Resolute, Yularen conceded that Anakin’s actions were the best approach, as it avoided the Republic falling into a CIS trap that would allow them to sway neutral systems to their side at the sight of clone soldiers slaughtering innocent civilians.

Anakin didn't want anyone to experience the same things he went through as a slave, so he acted to free them. Ironic that the very species he freed would be enslaved again by him as Vader a short while later. Awesome video btw.

All the more depressing to realize Vader basically enslaved the entire galaxy for Palpatine. He was just the slave that got to yank the leashes on everyone else

Anakin was also my
favorite character, hes such
a complex & tragic character
From being a slave Boy to
becoming a dark jedi
Serving under palpatine
Then giving up his life For
his son, beautiful.

*Glances at the Republic’s slave army* “Not gonna talk about it, huh, guys?”

Having been a slave himself, he no doubt felt triggered by the sight of this and set to do what he had been unable to do for his mother

If it predicts heavy collateral damage, it's not a surgical strike.

I love it when Star Wars talks about how the Separatists were bad for using slaves when the Grand Army of the Republic was entirely comprised of slave-soldiers.

Age of Republic: Anakin is a really good comic

Telling Anakin to follow his instincts is basically giving Anakin permission to go in solo.

I read this comic. It was like clone wars in comic form.

Anakin was the best of all the Jedi, until the moment he turned 😢 Anakins life is a tragic one.

Although Obi-wan lead Anakin to doing what was right at the time to free the slaves. But his concept of "trusting your instincts" is what lead Anakin to his downfall... Because he was worried for Padmé he trusted his instincts in Palpatine but not the force.

Tragically ironic when you consider the fact that many years later Anakin as Vader would enslave various planets across the galaxy

I loved the art in this comic. With the Clone Wars designs but with a realistic aestethic. It's the best of both worlds because I love seeing Anakin and Obi-Wan wearing Clone armor, but I have always wanted to see them using it with realistic proportions. For that reason, I love Ep. 5 of Ahsoka.
I'd totally buy an entire comic series with this art.

This comic is based on the vision Anakin had of himself as a jedi in Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. He talks about being a Jedi and freeing a bunch of slaves.

Separatists:"The Republic is in the wrong for using clone slave soldiers."
Also the Separatists:(uses slave labor to construct their armies)
