It's an AMAZING car!! I traded in my 2017 Honda Accord Sport for this car! It out weights the performance, the Tech, and Design! Hyundai gets a bad rap. They are always improving with cutting edge design. This is my second Hyundai and I absolutely love my Sonata Nline!!

The Transmission in this car is better than any CVT transmission!! There is NO issue with an open diff compared to other transmissions!!! People complaining are NOT QUALIFIED MECHANICS and they don, t know any better!! This care has ONE of the BEST transmissions out there!!

I needs an N version with the performance brakes and suspension etc.

Got mine a week ago. Best car I've ever (ever) owned... and I've had all 3 of the expensive German brands, a Jag, Saab... Salute Hyundai for being so bold on their N-design direction and superb build quality that frankly puts everyone else to shame.

Have had this for a month now and absolutely loving it! Thanks for posting a positive review, most Aussie reviews on YouTube weren’t so enthusiastic. It’s so fun to drive 😀

Needs to be full N, blue seat belts, electronic LSD, 6 speed Manual, adjustable dampers and some kind of spoiler and I'm sold.

Excellent review as always. The phone holder is a brilliant idea. Kia /Hyundai and Genesis are making great cars and have so much standard equipment compared to other manufacturers. Looking forward to your next review.
It would be great if you did a side by side comparison between the Stinger GT and the G70.

That was certainly a wonderfully dynamic and superb review, Mr. Brand! I've been curious to know how this car has been received in other countries, outside of the US? The first thing I noticed is that Australian editions come with far more options than we get in America. However, I see 55, 000 AUD equates to ~ $40, 000 in US exchange. Here, these vehicles are selling for $35K, if you can find one on a dealer's lot. I've had the Sonata N Line for two months and I find its feature to price point to be incredible; to include a 5-year warranty. Between comfort, performance and technology, I, personally, believe it to be the best value in the midsize sedan market.

Just bought mine! Loved the style and enthusiasm of your video . Hyundai definitely brings tons of value for what you pay for.

Adore your review, great fun! Saw it in the flesh in white and it took my breath away! I wish SUVs stopped being so popular so I could see more of these on the roads!

I’ve got one, great car. I live up around where you did the video too so I drive those roads everyday in it😎
A few good features you didn’t mention:
-massive panoramic moon roof
-launch control
-auto high beam
-runs on normal unleaded
-seat moves back to allow you out at shutoff
-great driver assist features, drives itself

My main issue is FWD only, there very little wheel spin but a fair bit of torque steer when putting in the boot.
Overall great fun and practical car, nothing else close for the money.

Who the hell is hating on this car every reviewing that I’ve seen of it is nothing but positive

Nice review as always, have had mine 8 weeks now. Haven’t met a person that doesn’t like it after seeing it, averaging 8.8L/100. As a daily driver a LSD, adjustable dampers would be nice but can’t say I’d notice the difference, happy to save the 10k it would cost as well. Kids, colleagues / clients love sitting in the back and the tech is better than anything this side of a G80 luxury pack. Will probably be the last Sonata Australia gets (like the Stinger). Much better than I expected it to be.

I love these things. Ever since the unfortunate death of the commodore and falcon, the Koreans have really taken advantage of that sports sedan segment.
Exact reason why we bought our Elantra sport 1.6T not an SUV

From America, I'm pretty jealous because your N line is basically a Limited + N line. In the states we lose some features from the limited in our n line but then again ours only cost $33K

Great review as always, Matt! This is probably the vehicle I intend to buy as a company car - will keep you posted!

Hey Matt - I recently bought one of these, at least in part to having watched your review! Love the styling, love the features, and just like you said, it's "Nuts Pfast"

Absolutely love my 2021 N-Line, the grill is so aggressive and I love it! Mine is all black and I think that makes the chrome trim and lights stand out more.

I've had mine for about a year and I really like it. However I'm jealous of the features that you have that aren't available in the N-Line in the US - such as the rear view cameras when you actuate the turn signal & and the heads-up display.
