0:13 Too many things I love about this scene. Naruto may act immature but he knows when to give up. Not in battle…but in love. Glad he did because he and hinata deserved each other.

Naruto is an excellent example of a man with genuine respect for the people in his life. He risked his life for Sakura time and time again even though he knew she loved Sasuke. Just because she didn’t return the same level of affection doesn’t mean he was willing to let her die. Naruto shows us all how not to be a “Nice Guy” and how to be a genuinely good friend by respecting Sakura’s boundaries and her relationship with Sasuke even when they were going through massive issues (with Sasuke being a literal revenge terrorist and all).

The fact that Naruto ACTUALLY moved on to someone that ACTUALLY loves him (Hinata) while Sakura was still saying "SaSukE kUn" is just-- 😐

EDIT: When I say "Sasuke-Kun", I mean that she still obsessed over him in Shippuden. (In Boruto their was a new person who wrote the female characters and does a MUCH better job than Kishimoto)

Edit AGAIN: For the people who keep saying " Hinata the whole time: "Naruto-Kun""
When I said "While Sakura was still saying " Sasuke Kun"" I didn't mean it literally, I meant that Sakura only really cared about Sasuke... Have you seen Naruto Road to Ninja...? At one point she did something kind of REALLY messed up to Naruto by saying that it would be better if Sasuke were there since he would "understand" her better. Imagine, you're with someone, comforting them when they're sad, but then you disagree with them like ONLY ONCE and they say it would be better if the person that hurt them the most was there, man that's just so messed up dude... But I mean I guess later she was a "better" character? I don't know how to say this so yeah... Think of it as a metaphor or something I don't mean literally- I figured more people would understand that but I guess not.

Sakura is a perfect representation of most modern girls they will not like you if you truly love them show respect and care about them but they will like "bad boys" who treat them like garbage just because he looks "cool"

The problem is that we never got an episode with a genuine apology from anyone in the entire Naruto series for how they treated him as a kid. Forget the young ones even the older generation, no one came and was like, I am sorry for what I did. Now, when it comes to Sakura, I don't like her, not one bit. She does not have any redeeming quality. She was a character who could be replaced by literally any other female character in the series. She was always there calling Naruto when she wanted help. Oh I want Sasuke, call Naruto. Oh pain destroyed Konoha, call Naruto. And for people saying she was a medical Ninja who saved Naruto multiple times, guess what, swap her with any other female medic and that lady would be of same help. She is that type of self entitled girl, who can't see past her. Gimme a reason why she liked Sasuke apart from his looks, none. Now, I don't want her to like Naruto. That's where I did not like Kishimoto's writing, Naruto in terms of psychological maturity was leagues ahead than even some of the adults. Heck he lost more than even Madara ever did and he was still one of the most level headed guy who came out of these traumas. I don't even need to start about Sasuke. He was all happy go lucky until he got jelly of Naruto's frog summoning jutsu. Like seriously? Insecure too much. I won't say how the story was written, but for the way Naruto's character was, he sure did not get any justice with team mates such as Sakura and Sasuke. And once again, she is not a romantic partner, I thank the good lord she isn't, but she shouldn't have been written as Naruto's childhood crush as well. This just spits on his own self esteem and I hate it.

I'm still waiting for the day when someone explains what aspect of Sasuke, except for his looks, made Sakura fall for him. Unless she has some weird fetish of liking someone who treats her like garbage, I don't see why because she never seemed to care about, I don't know, his whole clan being massacred.
