May 2018 — In our series “Why Public Health?” we ask Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health students and alumni to talk about what drew them to the field. After graduating, Bobby Brooke Herrera, PhD ’18, who researches cellular immune responses to the Ebola and Zika viruses, will continue his work pursuing biological strategies to develop vaccines for those diseases.
