Male gaze means dressing a specific way (usually showing a lot of skin or wearing skin tight clothes but not always) to draw the attention of men.

Female gaze is dressing a specific way (usually less tight/ revealing and more “artistic”/ aesthetic but again, not always) to garner the attention of women.

That’s the difference. If you’re confused looking a picture just as yourself “which demographic would like this look more?” The answer is likely whatever gaze they’re dressed for (though keep in mind it doesn’t mean people are constantly dressing for the attention of others and they are likely just wearing what they wanted to wear regardless. Don’t just assume everyone is dressing for others)

Male gaze prioritizes accentuated proportions even to the extent of looking inhuman and uncanny valley, which is why they find roided body builders and women with lots of plastic surgery (filled lips, bbls, breast implants) attractive. Female gaze is all about being harmonious and confident. We can like a natural aesthetic or a really flamboyant one provided that the person feels and looks confident in it. Roided bodies and excess plastic surgery just scream insecurity to us.
