Показать описание
This brief video outlines how Part D of Medicare works including the different phases - Deductible, Initial Coverage Level, Coverage Gap aka Donut Hole, and Catastrophic Coverage. About 85% of people won't reach the Coverage Gap or Catastrophic Coverage, but if you have expensive medications (~15% of people) you will likely reach the Coverage Gap. This video includes a detailed example for those of you that like to 'geek out' on data, like me :-)

Im on my pharmacy training for Medicare and I could not grasp the Tiers and Troop costs. This video is amazing at explaining it! Now I have to find a way to explain it to our members in simple words. Thanks a million!!!

Thank President Trump for Senior Savings for insulin. This was HIS plan to reduce prescription costs like he promised.

Thank you for the example. Visuals are great. Have you heard that insurance companies are moving normal tier1 to tier 3 or 4. Mine just did that this year. NOw I will have to pay more. Unless I choose to buy a no deductible plan

Could they make it any more complicated? Tiers, deductible, copays, discounts, different plans. You would need a degree to make an intelligent decision. Government, looking after us is like having the fox guard the henhouse.
