You did a great job explaining this unnecessarily confusing process in a very understandable fashion. Thanks.

The 2025 distribution looks like an absolute gift to the drug companies! You make it sound rosy for consumers but you don’t say how much the pdp premiums will be going up. I think once again the consumers will get the shaft!

Suddenly in Dec 2022, I was put on Eliquis for a blood clot. It was $500+ for 60 tablets. Luckily the Drug Plan Open season was still on for approx. one more week. So I found one with Eliquis at $47 mo. beginning Jan 1, 2023. I had no idea Eliquis would be that high. I went from the Silverscript to Amerivantage Rx Plus (PDP) Drug Plan with no deductible. My doctor took me off Eliquis after taking it six months and my blood clot is gone. I am so impressed with your knowledge and presentations. You are the best!

I am on Medicare and 3 of my Rx are Generic, but considered Tier 3 by almost every Part D Provider. I have found that if I pay cash for my Rx without Part D my price is actually less. My Insurer is charging me MORE that I can buy it for walkup full Cash! If I use Good Rx I can save over 70% on that cash amount. So...I buy the cheapest monlthly plan and use the Part D for my Tier 1 Drugs and for the Tier 3's I use the Discount Cash. It shouldn't be this way but it is.

You pay $165 for the original Medicare, about $250 for the plan G, plus the payments for the Medicare part D - depends on your medication. All together, it is easily $400+/mo, and you still don't have the optical and dental expenses covered.

These videos have helped me tremendously to navigate the completely unknown area of Medicare realm when I turned 65. So much to know, including how the government/insurance work it all, costs/limits/premiums and options. Ty for your simple explanations and opportunity to contact you for help. 😊

Thank You for this great well needed resource for seniors. You are doing a great public service to simplify the complex draconian Federal Government bureaucracy!

This video made me aware that it isn't just my Plan D that has the $500 yearly deductible. THEY ALL DO. Thanks for explaining how all of this works.

Great explanation of this complicated subject. My takeaway is, in 2025 Part D plans will probably cost 2-3 times what they do now because insurance companies are not going to eat that additional cost alone.

Two things I’m extremely grateful for. First, I had an ablation for my AFib while I was still on private insurance and no longer require Eliquis. Second, I don’t have a deductible with my Part D plan, along with that the meds I’m on are Tier 1 so very affordable.

Do not understand why part D plan cannot go to a reasonable tier amount and allow manufacturers coupons. My diabetic meds are outrageous. They are killing seniors paying for meds. I do not meet the requirements for help with medicines. It’s just ridiculous.
