Schlieren imaging of Welding GMAW with front illumination

Visualization of the protective gas and spatter in GMAW welding process while seeing details of the melt pool and drop forming. CAVILUX laser illumination is applied as light source for the Schlieren imaging setup. Another CAVILUX illumination laser is applied to the same setup to provide front illumination which enables to see more details of the actual process.
