I got my start in collision repair doing Ford trucks.
They're kind of fun I hope they still are, I would check that rear axle for hidden damage, that's a very good rebuildable you got there.

you said it yourself, just as i was thinking, a half frame costs as much as a full one, a simple swap over as you done before, and saves you all the work, you sold the last bent frame you'll do it again - all simple stuff for you
i wish we had more trucks like this in the UK - having said that, i got one that was blown up (experimental) and it was interesting to see what damage was done apart from the obvious stuff, when i removed the entire body shell from the chassis, the body moved so vilently on the chassis the explosion bent four of the eight bolts, these were the main central bolts, like bananas they were
but its amazing what forces go through these things when subject to external collisions etc
your chassis, as noted with the previous one you did, it can well be elongated, one side pushed further forward than the other, but also twisted and thats a hard one to get out, although Yuri is very good at that sort of thing as are you

Interesting project. Never had the cab off my now gone F350 w/6.7 diesel but it looks like you removed more then needed after seeing several at my local Ford store. I'll be watching the rest of the project now. I hope kitty manages the job well
