If Behringer makes the X-Air Edit apps for PC and mobile devices follow the actions being performed on the X-Touch controller, this would be an awesome setup! I would definitely invest in a X-Touch control surface for live sound applications. I love the modular concept. I can have my X-Air mixer essentially act as a digital snake and run a cat 5 cable to my control position in the back with the Tablets, my PC running the app and the surface all working in unison. I really hope Behringer will continue to make these kinds of improvements. Thanks again for this tutorial!

I've had my eye on the X-Touch for a few months, now to upgrade the MIDI control mixer for my custom laser synth, with the highly customizable Reaper. So, I will need customizable LCD labels & custom mapping on the right hand button banks
Does the X-Touch allow such customizations from within the PC app?

Thanks so much for the review. I recently purchased a Behringer X-Touch to work in conjunction with an XR 18 mixer for a live performance. I couldn't figure out how to get the signal specifically from the X-Touch (not from the XR18) via USB or Ethernet or some other way to send that signal to Live Strimming (radio broadcast). Those videos that were supposed to answer this question did not. I would be very grateful for any help.

I'm not sure you still read these comments, but if you do I wonder if you could help me, as there is no support from Behringer. I have just purchased X Touch and found your video very helpful, but I have a couple of problems. In your video the 4 modify buttons display the names Fx 123&4 and the 6 automation buttons display the names sub-group 1-6. Mine do not. Thanks

Anything new as of 8/13/2016? I just bought my xtouch for my xr18. I wasn't comfortable being able to shut down feed back quick enough using the app. I went from a presonus mixer to XR18 so we could get rid of the need for a big snake. Now we can just run a piece of CAT5 and use this for our live show work. I wish it had it's own wifi than no need for wifi at all.

I don't seem to have any information in the window show up when using send on fader mode. It works, but nothing displayed next to the channel displayed. All other functions work?

When looking at the EQ on the pots at the top... is it just me that thinks it would make more sense to have a page for each parametric option, so you choose 'band 1/2...` on the first rotary, then the others have shape, frequency, width, gain?

Hi, I just bought the Behringer X-touch to use with my XR18. I use this live as a keyboardplayer with all channels linked as stereochannels for my 8 keyboards/soundmodules.
Does anyone know how you can setup the x touch so that i can use channels 1-8 for the different keyboards. From default ik have to switch to the second bank for the remaining 4 stereo keychannels. The Xtouch editor onley works for Xtouch compact and Mini...

Hooking up out of box WITHOUT using a separate wifi router is what I want to see. Just got one used, trying to use mostly for live sound with XR18. How do I hook up without using a separate wifi router? XR to computer with cat5, USB to X Touch? if so, what mode is it? SOOO lost right now.

I can't figure out how to increase FX or Bus Gain. On the Windows or OX software. That would be the slider all the way to the left when you are in the mix page on the software.
