Excellent explanation. Most instructional YouTube videos take way too long to explain things. This was perfect.

Great piece of kit: a real game changer. Run the aux outputs to in ear monitors, plug instruments directly into digital mixer, get a PodGo for your guitars, use an edrum kit(there are some sweet ones these days) and the feedback issue disappears.Lugging amps and cabs is history. Might even preserve your hearing as the stage is as quiet as you choose it to be. We're loving our XR18.

This is awesome, while I'd like the X32 if I go back into doing live sound at gigs, this is an incredibly lightweight solution and really for most applications would be spot on. saves me carrying a lot of gear about, especially a multicore since I can just put this onstage in a rack and either use wifi or a single ethernet cable to a PC in the sound booth.

As an FYI for anyone who is still looking at this, do NOT trust the wifi setup in any live situation. I was mixing for a band on one of these. It was fine all through rehearsals and even in the soundcheck. As soon as people showed up with cell phones, the connection broke and I was left mixing the band by standing several feet in front of the stage and pointing to a band member, and then pointing up or down. Not fun.

I just saw in the video that the unit has a fan inside it. My XR18 doesn't have it.

sucks... the signal is visible to anyone in the crowd... no password protection. if someone tries to link to it it shuts you down

Nice demo. Is the software in the device like a server, or do you need to install an app? Risk with app is that there might be a time that the app is that it might not be supported any longer in the future. Cheers
