I’ve been doing keto for 9 months now I’ve lost 70lbs and feel great I’m not grumpy actually my mood has been a lot better I’m happy feel energized and love this way of eating I’m no longer addicted to food I recommend this to anyone who has food addictions do your research and give this a try it’s changed my life!

Two months into a KETO diet. 20+ pounds down. Dropped from 25% body fat to 17%. You will experience a "KETO flu" (low stamina/energy) while your body transitions (maybe a week) but then you feel AWESOME!!! Think clearer. More energy than ever. (I am 52 year old very active professional male)

You can exercise all you want because the fat you eat becomes energy. When are we gonna learn that carbohydrates is not the only source of energy the body works on. Think about it the carbohydrates are killing millions.

Why get someone on the show to present something and stand beside them shredding everything they say. Diet is already a scary topic for most so it doesn't help if you've literally got someone stood next to you saying " guys it looks hard try something

I cured my diabetes with this combined with eating only twice daily (intermittent fasting). I think Rachel was VERY NEGATIVE with her responses. I used to be a vegan. I became diabetic and blind after massive carbohydrate eating...!

That is completely wrong sorry but keto diet is one of the most sustainable diets and you definitely DONT FEEL weaker or less energy due to the lack of carbs.. instead your body uses fat all the time which gives you more energy and clear mind..

Rachael is sooo wrong your not grumpy - well maybe at first cause you can't eat sugar/breads/pastas etc.. After adapting you feel Energized & Very Calm :)

What do you mean, I won't have energy? You have lots of energy. I teach martial arts, every day and have no problems with energy. You may feel a bit tired at the beginning as your body adjusts but after that, it shouldn't be a problem. I've been doing this for 15 years. It's completely sustainable. I also do I.F. using OMD. That one meal a day, is keto. Plenty of energy. When you get "experts" who don't know what they're talking about and just provide info based upon a book or study they read, that doesn't really make them an expert. They're giving an uninformed opinion. Being a medical doctor doesn't provide them with any special magical abilities and insights. Doctors are focused on illness and not on health. Most doctors have less than one semester of nutrition and even less experience with reading and understanding studies. They're not exactly credible when it comes to nutrition.

What a stupid remark she made....let me guess! She makes a living cooking high carb foods...this way of eating works very well and gets easier every day, like anything else....do it!!

I struggled with the keto diet too much, I just felt exhausted. We are supposed to enjoy the food we eat and with keto that's close to impossible. That's why I tried the Agoge diet and it works great.

The mistake we make is thinking that we are all exactly the same and that modeling the same diet and lifestyle should be the same also. We all need to find what works for you in your current state. Don’t be fooled!! Not all carbs are equal and science and medicine makes new discoveries about our bodies all the time
