It begins. Denis Villeneuve's Dune is hitting theatres around the globe and to celebrate the release of the film, I thought I would put together a tribute edit to build the excitement. This movie edit includes a mixture of trailer and scene footage. Are you excited to see Dune 2021 and will you be watching it in IMAX?

Paul Atreides leads nomadic tribes in a battle to control the desert planet Arrakis. Dune is an upcoming epic science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve with a screenplay by Jon Spaihts, Villeneuve, and Eric Roth. The film is an international co-production of Canada, Hungary, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It is the first of a planned two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert, which will cover roughly the first half of the book. The film stars an ensemble cast including Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.

I will permit the subwoofer frequencies to pass over me, and through me.
And when the credits have gone past, I will turn the inner hype towards Part 2.
Where the fear of Dune being unfilmable has gone, there will be nothing. Only awe will remain.

This is one of the most epochal trailers I've ever seen! Brilliant choice of music, perfect editing! Better than all the commercial trailers from the movie studios. An absolute masterpiece!!! The movie itself can't top it!

This clip shows pretty much the entire movie, but Dennis manages to drag it out for near 3 hours, with little extra content or entertainment. He has a talent that's for sure.. A dull and soulless adaptation.

Director Denis Villeneuve gives us to understand in Dune that in visions we can see a future or simply see a prediction in life. An easy story to understand and get hooked as a viewer. Good for him since he knew how to bring such an extraordinary novel to the cinema in a good way.
