Imagine dying for a Guinness world record. GUINNESS! You'll be immortalized alongside the person who extinguished the most candles with a fart.

Quick Tip:
From the moment you have kids, put their interests ahead of yours..they need a live Dad more than a dead hero.

Once you have kids it’s probably time to stop doing suicidally dangerous things.

The biggest problem with death-defying stunts is that Death will only allow you to defy him for so long.

It took the medical staff ON SCENE 2 and a half minutes to reach him??? Not saying it could have saved him but if you are going to have medical on site maybe don't have them park 6 blocks away... that seems crazy to me idk...

Not something a young husband and father should have been doing. Real lack of judgment

The real heroes avoid unnecessary dangers so they will be there to raise their children. It's many times mundane and tedious; it's a true and noble sacrifice that happens over decades not seconds.

Being a legend ain't no good if you're dead and died not trying to or saving others.
Many unknown dead Vets did far more with their final moments on earth.

Once you start a family is the day you stop extremely dangerous pursuits. You can still get hit by a bus on the way to work but all my sympathy goes to the wife and children.

How come they don't say "At least he died doing what he loved" when someone OD's on Fentanyl?

Nothing about a motorcycle jump defies physics. It is a glimmering example of applying physics. Physics cannot be defied. Understanding them allows us to do better and cooler things. His kids will grow up without a father but at least his name is in a book no one reads... Dude cared more about clout than his own children. Welcome to America.

Why isn't there records for feeding the most homeless in a day or doing the most for senior citizens in your neighborhood in a day ? Lol

I was a kid when my dad and grandpa took me to see Evel Knievel. 1975 Kings Island Cincinnati Ohio Evel Knievel jumped over several buses. Forgot how many buses. I can look it up. I was more excited to see Evel than count the buses.

Hey you want to see me beat my own record?

It seems weird to recognize a past attempt simply because the person died.

It seems unclear why Guinness did not recognize the 2012 jump at first? If you know anything about Guinness, it was money. They are purely for profit

I don't care how professional you are, how much you practice, or how many calculations are performed for a stunt like this, there are simply too many variables to know with any real certainty that the outcome will be favorable.
