Do you sit like a hunchback all the time over your laptop? Do you have back, neck, or wrist pain from slouching all the time? Or do you just not want to be completely bent over by the time you're old? In this video, I'll show you how I fixed my pain by just making a few small adjustments to my computer setup, as well as additional things you can do to not stress your body out so much. I'll also go over how I fixed my standing posture and how moving my body more helped. Who knew that sitting at a computer for 12 hours a day is so bad for your body?

nice video Eric, you might be interested in the book Deskbound: Sitting is the New Smoking by Kelly Starrett. He is highly respected in the Physical Therapy community and has some solid work regarding mobility. Check it out, there are some good videos of him on YT talking about the subject as well.

Appreciate this! I have lots of issues getting comfortable in front of a computer and sitting down in different chairs. Think I may have spinal problems. Wish I could comfortably sit and use my computer from anywhere!

Great video dude, thanks for sharing.
For me, I now use a kneeling chair. The posture activates your entire spine and everything you do needs your spine and core being active.
It's tough in the beginning because your weight shifts forward and there is new weight on your shin rests, but that will pass after about a month.
Get a stool chair on wheels and change every few hours.
Your back and pelvis with be all for the better.

If you use the computer a lot you really ought to get a top or side mounted trackball mouse, I know for me I would sometimes get wrist pain from using my mouse too much, and this completely went away when I started using a trackball mouse. You do have to be more mindful about cleaning them compared to a normal mouse, but this is probably actually a good thing to force you to care about cleaning your mouse. Also you can get rid of your mousepad.

Proper posture is stupid, sit in the way that's most comfortable for you is the right way.

Also if you still get issues due sitting, it's not due to sitting incorrectly but sitting too much, a standing desk would be more appropriate or just learn to take breaks.
