Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti vs RTX 3060 Ti Performance in a Nutshell

Nvidia has recently released the RTX 4060 Ti and in this video I wanted to take a deeper dive into what Nvidia has brought to the table compared to the RTX 3060 Ti, the 4060 Ti has little to no incremental performance uplift, if we take away ray tracing and DLSS 3 which I'm pretty confident Nvidia could add this technology to their previous gen hardware too but they have to have a good selling point, marketing as a 50% to 100% performance uplift when in actual rasterization cases, the 4060 Ti performs equally to the 3060 Ti.

When I looked at how big the gaps from tier to tier in the 40 series cards is, I figured that the 4050 would be slower than a 3050. This is just another data point confirming that trend.

If games were actually OPTIMIZED nowadays, 8gb vram would still be great. Now it's just 'good enough'. I'm glad I got my 3060Ti at just $400 during the GPU shortage. It's great bang for your buck. Paired it with a 5600X and couldn't be happier, I love them both. The only thing stopping me now is unoptimized games.
