Who knew how great a bargain the 3060ti was….you basically got two cards for the price of one

3060 ti is cheaper and more price to performance indeed but expect your electricity bill will go up and up and up.
4060 ti is 30% more expensive but its performance per watt is good, your electriicity bill won't be high so I guess it'll make up for buying this expensive card in the long run.

All about price tbh. I Picked up a 3060ti for 150 less than 4060ti and that will be a good enough card to use for a number of months before the 50 series drops

If you’re coming from an older card, you’ll definitely love the 4060. Came from a gtx 1060 laptop, to one with a better processor, ddr5 RAM, and an rtx 4060. It was worth the upgrade for me. But i cant see why anyone would want to upgrade from a 30 series card. Those are still phenomenal for gaming. Its simple, if you dont think the upgrade is worth it or cant afford it, DONT GET IT! Its even stated on Nvidiad website that players coming from a 2060 or a 1060 will see the most performance upgrades. Sure, the 30 series cards dont have DLSS 3.0 and up, but they can still do really good with 1440p high settings. Yall complaining because new graphics cards are marketed towards people with old and underperforming systems, like they always have been…. Like i said, dont buy it if you cant afford it or dont see it fit for an upgrade. In that case, if you want a major upgrade for $150-$200 more than a 4060ti, get a 4070 super or even the 4070 ti super when they come out. Did none if you take economics class? It shows lol

The thing is the 4060ti is not meant for people who have a 3060 ti or even a 2060 ti for that matter. It does seem great for me, someone upgrading from a 1060 though.
