As someone who had a 1070 ti prior to buying a 4060ti, it was definitely worth the upgrade. Also, the 3070 is a $800 dollar card in my market, whereas a 4060ti is a $600 card. No Brainer in my case.

A lot of reviewers don’t seem to fully understand who the 4060ti is for. It’s not for people with a 3060ti and maybe not even for people with a 2060ti. It’s for people like me upgrading from an old a$$ 1060. Also with Black Friday pricing I found mine for a little less than $350. It’s within my price range, it’s a solid update from my card, and should be supported longer than buying a used older card on eBay.

Because i like new cards, its the same pwrformance of a 3060ti with significantly less power consumption which makes it perfect for my case scenario

- stable drivers
- great availability
All of that paired with decent performance and real life prices instead of some looney imaginary numbers make 4060Ti ok. It's not great, not even close, but in current place and time i don't blame anyone for getting one. Only truly egregious part of it is how much more they want you to fork over for the 16GB model.
