The Appropriate Manner of Hinting at Your Interest in Someone

Ibn 'Abbas said, concerning the verse:

وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُم بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَاءِ

There is no blame upon you for that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women. (2:235)

"So he says: "I want to get married and I hope that it is facilitated for T me to find a righteous lady.""

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih Al-'Uthaymin said: "This person is making an indirect hint because he wants to marry her. If it were not the case there would be no benefit in this statement. This is the explanation of Ibn 'Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, concerning the meaning of His statement:

﴿وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُم بِهِ مِنْ خَطبَةِ النِّسَاءِ

There is no blame upon you for that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women. (2:235)

Similarly, if one were to say: I desire (to marry) someone like you, or something like this."

im sorry for what i heard on the video sister, im glad you're still muslim after all the you came though when you saw these moralities. i am a man and i want to say you're not ugly at all, you look really good and everyone would be glad to have you as wife.
i recommend you to find sisters who are reverts or non reverts doesnt matter and be their friends, pick them from the mosque, not school, university anywhere else
it has to be from the mosque
if you can seek knowleadge with them on weekly basis like 2 to 3 times a week that would be awesome
also, seek husband through halal apps or marriage events you will find for sure the one who suitable for you incha allah
dont be depressed or sad, im an arab and would like to say that a lot of arab women would definitely want to be in your shoes

قال التابعي محمد بن حسين: اللهم ارزقني امرأة تسرني إذا نظرت، وتطيعني إذا امرت، وتحفظني إذا غبت.

You’re making the cardinal mistake women usually assume that men love like women. We can love more than one woman and even if not we can still be fair with time and resources frankly that’s all that matters with polygyny. The heart always has a favorite though subject to change
