Yes we do tithe. Early in our marriage we were tested. We were 8 months into our new home, had a 5 month old baby when my wife was laid off. Then 3 months later I was laid off. New home, new baby, neither of us working, yet we never stopped tithing the entire time. It was not easy. But after looking back we saw we never missed a bill or a meal and was even able to loan to others despite being down ourselves. God proved Himself faithful, so to this day we never miss giving. The Lord has never forsaken us or had us begging bread.

I tithe every month. I only started this year. Honestly tithing has changed my life but not necessarily in a financial way, but I have seen God give back to me in other areas of my life like my spirituality, my mental health & my academic life.

I started tithing last year (on my gross income, before taxes) and I co-sign all of this! I was a student (recently finished) and thought at first that I couldn't tithe because my income was so low - yet I would spend on frivolous things like eating out or Starbucks. Once I decided that as soon as my pay came in, I would pay God first, then pay myself (savings) second, it really made a difference in how I felt and how I handled my money. I'm much more mindful now about how I spend and it forced me to not just budget, but stick to the budget. God provided and continues to provide. I started receiving money from unexpected places. I was offered an incredible job I didn't apply for and miraculously found a way to graduate early. God is always working.

No. I am saving money to pay off my student loans. Tithing has been heavy on my heart. After watching your video I realize that God will make a way for me to pay off my student loans and tithe. God is the reason I have this job to save money to pay back my student loans.

Ever since I began to tithe, God has stretched my finances... He truly makes a way...

I haven't watched the video YET, but I read the title and giggled. I was working on my budget excel sheet and kept deciding if I wanted to keep my tithes in or out. Like, I was literally going back and forth deleting and undeleting that row. I just make SOOOO little right now, that it seems like EVERY penny counts. Loooorrdddd. Let me watch this video bc I know it's him talking to me.

For me by Tithing l learned several lessons about God. The first lesson to put God first or the first fruit belongs to God. Before l pay any bills or spend money on other things l try to tithe first. In the beginning l wasn’t giving my first fruit but with time & His patience l learned to put Him first. Lesson #2 Tithing was being obedient to God. So tithing & obedience went hand and hand. #3. God ask us to test Him in this area. I’ve had raises, savings keep increasing, and becoming more disciplined with what He has bestowed on me. 3 years ago l paid off my home & car. Let me tell you. I started in live living In orphanages to orphanages from bounced from family to family so having a paid off home is God’s testament to His Goodness & Blessings. ❤️💕🙏🎊🎉🥳 All the Glory to God! Amen!

Yes I tithe.
And from tithing, I see God wearing his —Jehovah Jireh — “hat”....working in my life.

I recently understood tithing and tithed in January and OMG God came through. It was like a huge door of financial favour was opened in my favour. I was wondering what happened and I could only trace it back to tithing. And yes it's not about the money, it's about our heart, it's about gratitude and trust. It's about discipline. ❤️🕊🙏🏽

Yes tithing is right! My husband is a pastor and we have been tithing for over 30 years now, I am so glad to see and read about the young people that tithe. Truly God will open up his windows of heaven and pour you out many many blessings you will not have room to keep them. I love tithing and giving back.We just have a small church but the faithful members there believe in tithing and the church bank account is blessed. We don"t have to beg for anything God always provide for us. I tithe because it is the right thing to do not because of the blessings but just tithe and watch God bless you. The blessings might not come when we want them to but they are coming.God cannot lie. Be blessed.

I have been tithing since I was 16yrs old, my parents implemented the importance of tithing. And my testimony is God has never ever failed me. Now 36yrs old and still praising God and continued to tithe even during the pandemic. We have never been hungry we still have roof over our heads. He is so faithful 😭♥️

I do tithe, just not as consistent but I want to change that. In the past when I was consistent, I noticed that God would bless me with things I desperately needed but didn’t know how I would get them due to low funds. He was always watching over me and providing for me, especially when I was being obedient and consistent with tithing.

Yes, I tithe bi-weekly and without hesitation. On days that I get paid it is the very 1st thing that I do in conjunction with praying. God has been faithful to my family and I in that my daughter has become disciplined at 18 yoa and does the same thing. That and, I believe that God not only has blessed me financially but also medically, emotionally, and with being disciplined in all areas of my life. Tithing just isn’t an option for me.

I do not tithe, I’ve just always had the mentality that I’ll do so once I start earning money consistently in my life or when I am financially stable. But I’ve learned not just by watching this video but throughout this year 2021 that’s it’s the heart of giving. So it really doesn’t matter how much I have even if it’s small God sees my heart not the amount. And I am starting to tithe.

I work in the entertainment industry and struggled for years. Work was scarce. Once I started tithing and trusting God, He brought the increase! 🙌🏾I’m in tears just thinking about it. God is soooo good! I give Him the glory and praise! Tithing has drastically transformed my career and income. It has also made me more generous and humble. It’s most definitely a heart posture and a God-given practice that has never changed.

I now make 4 times more after I started tithing and have not long ago made nearly 5 times more. I struggled UNNECESSARILY for so long when all I had to do was obey God and follow His principles of tithing and sowing. Now no matter how tempting it can be sometimes, I can’t go back to not tithing. It’s a risk I’m not willing to make. I’m trying to convince my family to do the same to break the spirit of poverty off of them! Tithing is God’s system of financial protection (like the FDIC). It insured your money. It also God’s way of multiplying what we have supernaturally almost effortlessly. It gives us the grace to operate in the POWER TO GET WEALTH! We tap into God’s supernatural resource.

Amen!! The enemy loves to use money and power to make us cling to a hope outside of God. Thank you for encouraging us with your story and congratulations on your marriage! 💗

Yes I do tithe. I pay God first before I/“he” takes care of my bills. We have an app for my church so I have it on auto pay to be taken out weekly. I just started back tithing consistently because I found a new church home and I saw where they money was going (rebuilding the children’s ministry, giving back to the community etc...) so I felt comfortable. I also had to change my mindset because I was also stingy with money at times. Tithing has changed my heart posture as I want to give more and in other ways. I started keeping care packages in my car to pass out to the homeless when I would see them. I will pay for the meals of a car or two behind me when I’m in the drive thru etc. I literally ask God (most mornings), “How can I be a blessing to someone today?” My new church home and tithing has ONLY benefited my life. Thank you for sharing Melody! ❤️

Hi friends😊 Actually the bible asks for us to give the tithe to the church (the Storehouse) Malachi 3 vs 8-10. Giving to an orphanage, the poor, homeless etc...counts as an offering ( Cause Tithe and offering are different). The Bible calls the tithe first fruit, so I give the first 10 percent before I do anything else to avoid "borrowing" tithe, as it isnt mine, its God's😁 Actually, All the money belongs to God, but He gives me all of 90% and only asks for 10%... Thats a great deal! I believe it's also important to give the church to keep the doors of the church open. The Church is also essential, A spiritual hospital that feeds the soul, not just the belly.
Love this video🌻😘🙏

Yes I tithe, I love it and have been doing it for YEARS (for God so loved the World that he gave). I also teach my kids to do the same. God has given, so it should be easy for us to do the same. He actually placed the 10th in, so we can give it back to him. What we need to understand is, we can't afford not to tithe. I teach my kids by showing them a closed fist and tell them, nothing can get in or out when it closed. Plus, in tithing, we are actually being in partnership with God. It's a sense of Trusting God with EVERYTHING (just as Adam/Eve would have been doing had they not eaten from the tree of knowledge of good/evil). God wants to be first - that first choice (thou shall have no other God before me). He wants to take the care and worry by managing things (including our finances) for us (cast all your cares on him because he cares for you). He wants to be our Father and being able to supply all our needs according to his riches in Glory. We think we can handle it and have a better wait but no. God can take something that would take a long time to happen, happen in a lesser time. All by cooperating with him. When Adam/Eve didn't chose the tree of Life (God), it came with a price that we are still dealing with and toiling is one of them. In not tithing, it's like telling God, I can handle it better than you can. It took a minute for me to completely understand but seeking God asking him to help you will be the start. When God, who can not lie, made a covenant/oath - what he said will come to pass (expect it). His Word is TRUE and he loves us, not wanting us to fail. His Word is fool proof. When you apply his word (Hearer/Doer - Faith without Works) His word has to accomplish what it was sent to do. Malachi 3:1-12 gives so much explanation and tells you the benefits of tithing and if you don't tithe, you miss out on those benefits. God still loves us (as he did Adam/Eve), but there's still a consequence to anything when it's outside of the will of God. All in all, remember that what you have, is God's all along, so in obedience to his word, cooperate with God and come out on Top. He always gives more because we can't out beat his giving.
