I literally had to explain this to a 40 year old because he thought the government should make laws based on Christianity

Separation of church and state was never about protecting peoples right to worship. It was, and has always been, about protecting peoples right NOT to worship.

The music is so unnecessary and overkill. Horrible editing, but good delivery and information

James Madison once said in one of his letters that 'Religion and government will both exist in greater purity the less they are mixed together.' He is the man who basically wrote the Bill Of Rights so his opinion on this matter is kinda a big deal.

I appreciate freedom of religion and I'm a die hard conservative. I love the freedom my country has to offer, I love my personal liberties ingrained in our constitution, and I love my God.

Thank you Jesus!

And idiots are committing treason by violating this. If you don't like it, either ignore it or leave the country. Simple as that.

IGreat this video you do not mention that freedom of religion also means that atheist and agnostics are protected when they do not participate in any religion and do not believe in any divine entities, Gracias.

Remember guys, you can’t have freedom of religion (the right to worship a religion), without freedom from religion (the right to not have to worship a religion)!

The phrase "separation of Church and State" is NOT in the 1st Amendment. It was in a letter written by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists.

The establishment clause dose stop the federal government from establishing a state ran religion but it doesn't stop the individual states from having a state ran religion

Whatever makes you happy some don't understand why people do what they we call good and bad but you don't know what a person has endured or gone through.

H.R.1308 - Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 is unconstitutional, and therefore not a law that can be enforced. The first amendment to the USA constitution states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Therefore the section in the 1993 HR 1308 that states, " except that the government may burden a person's exercise of religion only if it demonstrates that application of the burden to the person: (1) furthers a compelling governmental interest; and (2) is the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmental interest." makes HR1308 unconstitutional and thus null and void.

Question.. If Freedom Of Religion is covered under the 1st Amendment of the U.S Constitution. Then how did most of the Governors get away with issuing a Executive Order and stop people from Freedom of Religion  by attending church
