When someone is coerced or compelled to make a decision they disagree with, it has sometimes been said that they complied "at gunpoint" with that coercive demand.
If your idea has merit, there's no need to force it on anyone else "at gunpoint."
If you have to have your way "at gunpoint, " there's something wrong with your idea.
