The Iranian woman's comments regarding her ability to go without head coverings have not aged well in light of the brutal, murderous attacks on women by the Iranian state. I wonder what she would say to the women who have been arrested, tortured, and killed for doing the very things she said she could freely do in Iran.

The fact you can get in trouble or be threatened with death for criticizing Islam, in itself shows how immoral and fragile this religion and it’s followers are.

What a legend. I'm Iranian and disgraced by the comments of the woman in the first clip. She seems to not be Iranian at all, but one of the Islamic Republic's apologists. Amazing come back by Christopher that shows how in-tune with the reality he was. How he is missed today.

The very first clip is about 15 years old and Hitchens was right then and he's right today. The recent women's demonstrations on Iran and their appalling treatment at the hands of the state are testament to that.
