He is a very wise man. I could never see the sense of people idolising a "God" when they can't see him, and there is NO concrete evidence that he ever existed.

If you think the universe couldn't have come from nothing, then where did God come from? It's like if you didn't know where things go after you flush the toilet, so instead of following the pipe connected to the back, and seeing where it leads, you make up some elaborate story about elves stealing your poop. That's what religion is.

Um…has their ever been a civilization that didn’t have deities? Ten of thousands of years of human existence. Some peoples never met. Yet, they all created similar ideas around the creation of life being done by ‘gods.’ Does atheism believe this is pure coincidence?

The 'gods' of antiquity were memories of the extraterrestrials who once dominated humans on earth. After the ETs left and humans were on their own, religions developed out of that and used to subjugate everyone

The concept of god as a person was definitely man made for the purpose of putting fear into those they wanted to dominate. But there is a divine order to this reality & there is an afterlife, it's just not what's been imagined by patriarchal religions. There are natural laws we do need to honor in order to thrive as a species.
