Cutting out the narcissist was far easier than cutting out the mutual friends who continued to interact with him. Cutting them lose was the most difficult part. A mid ranger who could be incredibly nice and charming at moments of his choosing. The people I valued the most, are the very people he chose to really pour on the charm. I lost people I truly cared for and those people do not understand. That was the most difficult part.

No contact is not always possible when you have adult kids. But I get the greatest satisfaction at not responding to his comments, whether negative or positive (usually positive trying to draw me back in). He absolutely HATES being ignored or not listened to.

By now i very well know what no contact does really effective and so thankful to you HG for making me realise you cant make sense to a narcissist just providing them more fuel no contact best thing to piss them off draining them keep them dry
