I’d say dr K is a good person, because he is trying to prevent a global pandemic from happening a second time, but he could have explained this from the beginning, and he has a way for Colin to be transferred without losing his mind which would help him convince Colin to become a goo beast even more, heck if I was in Colin’s place I would let dr K transfer me, if I could have enough time to pick what animal I had to become in exchange.

I still think Dr K could have explained the situation better and earlier that what he did. Colin may have decided to stay or maybe it wouldn’t have made a difference as the good ending would likely only make sense to go for after all Colin went through and learned and the friendship with Puro.
