So I'm lost. Where is NATO and the UN? If the pale virus is that lethal, wouldn't the lab have some kind of defensive measures to prevent things like the riot from happening? Like soldiers/S.W.A.T in gas masks, Army CBRN Specialists, or even just small pockets of surviving military/law enforcement with some survivors in small settlements outside of bunkers? Not all those bunkers would have the capacity for entire nations and would probably house like politics and military advisors/strategists or even CDC/W.H.O scientists including Dr. K

And in the ending he leaves transfured with puro is the good ending as he'll be fine
