This is the reason why everything has safety seals today. There was no such thing before this happened.

This is the kind of crime that I’ve always found truly evil. To target random innocent people, faceless and without any remorse. Whoever did this, I hope they suffer(ed) a HORRIBLE death.

I remember this on the news, my mother was so scared because she just took some tylenol for a headache the whole nation was in fear

I was pregnant then, and switched from Excedrin to Tylenol. The TV in our Massachusetts home literally had a bottle with the serial numbers the news read sitting on top of it. My blood ran cold. A physician friend had advised me not to take anything while I was pregnant, "not even a Tylenol." That's why I'm still here.

My mother still won’t take Tylenol or allow it in the house because of this incident. I’ve tried convincing her that it’s been nearly 40 years, but she refuses to even listen to me.

And this is why u disclose literally every single thing uve ingested in the past 48hrs to ur doctor when something goes wrong...I made that mistake the 2nd time I was admitted for sickle cell crises and pneumonia and I more or less clinically died n had to be revived..never again.

I grew up in Chicago and was 10 at the time. I remember my mom throwing out all the over the counter medicine we had whether it was Tylenol or not.

Back then you could buy meds off the shelf, which were packaged in unsealed boxes, in unsealed bottles. Anything: Tylenol, aspirin, whatever.

I love how the narrator said these parents found their kid unconscious on the floor and called an ambulance because they were "nervous" and not "terrified" or "totally freaking the heck out".

I remember being a kid hearing about the Tylenol poisoner on the news, and it left me pretty shook. The fact they deliberately did it just chills me to the bone.

I cant believe how sloppy the FBI was in letting J&J test the recalls instead of a third party.

The weirdest part about this whole story that one man nearly took down Johnson.

Mary Kellerman and I were best friends at Jane Addams Junior High School, in Schaumburg, IL. A day before that horrific historical day, we were both on our mentutral cycles in gym class, and she gave me one of those Tylenols for our cramps. I I didn't take it because I hated taking pills, RIP MARY 🙏🏽❤️

Listening to this, wow I remember this when I was a kid. NO TYLENOL! In the Gacy and Dahmer days.
