It takes 3 to 4 days to recover after removal of wisdom tooth so it also depends on how the wisdom tooth is impacted or erupted because with wisdom tooth are always impacted inside the bone it also depends on how the surgical extraction is done, the swelling and bruce's are improved after 2 to 3 days. You can even place an ice pack a day after the extraction so that your swelling comes down. So please don't disturb the clot by brushing the area or touching the area with your tongue so that it disturbs the clot. Follow the instructions told by your surgeon and please take the pain Killers and antibiotics on time so that the recovery is fast.

After the surgery, you shouldn’t be consuming any hot beverages. Cold drinks will help! Take your medicines on time. Don’t skip!
In my case, I only had soup for 2 days and enjoyed yogurt and ice cream for snacks. It helped me a lot!
After 2 days, pain is gone and back to normal.

After 8 days im still in pain ...they cut the gum stiched and the problem now is the pain killers and antibiotics are making my stomach sick now ...fed up of pain😢

On day 7.... been bed bound... eating soup.... crying fits ... extreme pain when meds wear off... this is seriously the worst and most annoying thing ever. Ontop of that I'm getting a bad cough and sore throat now. I can't wait for this to be over!

Had a tilted partially impacted tooth in my lower left jaw. Got it removed and i had to get 4 stitches.first three days i just lay i bed all day and used my phone to distract myself (helped to calm my anxiety) and always took my medicine on time. My doctor gave me pain meds for 5 days straight 2 times a day. I had only cool soft food and ice cream. Then 5th day onwards things got better. Day 7th and i git my stitches removed. it was only after getting the stitches removed did my swelling went down completely. After which my doctor allowed me to eat anything i want but only fron the opposite site. Now im on my 11th day after surgery. the extraction site feels hollow and theres minimal pain. Im still eating softer foods just to be safe. The main problem now is that hole where food gets stuck all rhe time. im rinsing with salt water 4 times a day (after every meal). For some reasin teeth beside my extraction feel somewhat sensitive...

Could you suggest me - I have removed my lower wisdom tooth and doctor gave me stitches. It been one now now I get several headache everyday. I went for checkup again today and she told me there is infection in wound . She gave me anthesia and cleaned the infection. I got very high headache today, tool dolo to get relief from it but now I have vomit sensation. Pls suggest how long it would take to heal the wound and why headache is too much. My doctor couldn't answer my questions

No facial swelling at all after procedure, after 3 months i still have a deep hole and its causing dry socket pain on the left side of my face but man do the holes take a long time to heal
