I’d also add that for those who mentioned their bed or bedroom- invest in good quality bedding -blankets, sheets, pillowcases, throw blankets, throw pillows if you like, wall decor or anything else that makes your room feel like a sanctuary to you. You can do it over time (I know everything is expensive right now) but I really believe it makes a difference. I think we need at least one space that is ‘uniquely our own’ .

Definitely being with my cat and no one else.
Thanks so much for your honesty.

I used to think I was strange growing up always hiding in my bedroom watching tv away from people. You’re inspirational videos make me feel worthy again.

That’s you for normalizing this❤. Society makes it to be such adysfunctional behavior. My bedroom and bed and SNACK will always be my happy place! Especially when feeling sad, overwhelmed, stressed, defeated, etc.

Finding an ease in solitude has taken me years of work and therapy but, I can now embrace my alone time. It feels Great!

I love being at home on a warm day by myself watching educational YouTube videos. I have trouble relaxing so I am typically doing something during this time - but I feel safe and content.

I feel the the most at peace when I'm completely alone on a trail in the wilderness.

Snuggled up with my furbabies around me, and my 4 human males are in bed. I watch happy things on TV and visualise that quite little place, where my boys are all flying with their own wings but popping back occasionally to visit and tell me stories of their wonderful adventures.
Always remember that beautiful line in Nanny McPhee 'when you want me but no longer need me, then I have to go' ❤️

Hilton Head Island's South Carolina and Tybee Island Savannah Georgia my life and I'm so happy to see myself being there once in life. Now days as a full blooded Native American and speak several languages at the age of 40 year's old. Been married twice and have to admit that all was not bad.
My name is Herlton S.Chee of the Navajo nation of Arizona.
Resetting in my life now, but difficult at times and then I hear you speaking with great confidence on overcoming anxiety about behavioral health.
Awesome thanks for your path towards new days

Same for me, minus furbabies, ..I don't have any.
❤❤❤❤ @Dr Kim for bringing light and understanding to this condition I've suffered with for my entire adult life, probably as a teen too.

In bed, watching my shows, with my cat and reading- alone. I have a spouse who I love very much but I am grateful he has a job with odd hours so there is alone time for me and time for US.

In a little room in the back of the house used for dining, doing my crosswords and watching game shows with my Pug and cat. It's the only time I feel content.

In my bed lying dead and listening to meditation music. Phone on silent. I hate going out into the world and be around people. I am scared something life threatening is going to happen to someone at any moment
