So, back when disk drives started there was a little loss due to internal meta data, but, these days you buy a disk and it's 1 or even close to 2TB shy of storage. That's a little more than meta data. Isn't it time to be honest? To understand and calculate the expected loss? I buy an 18TB and I get a 16TB... A 20TB and I get an 18TB. Shouldn't the 20TB be labelled 18TB?

Hello. I just bought one of these. Can you tell me if yours makes a constant sound, like a sort of pounding inside of it. if you put your hand on you can actually feel that pound/kick inside of it. It occurs at 4-5 seconds interval. It is brand new, and i dont know if it is build like this or its a flaw. thanks

I have this similar item pero ang problema ko wal akong data cable at para power supply. Hirap naghanap ng mga cables niya. Any can recommend shop for the parts... thanks
