i love the dsi, my first video games were pokemon black version two and emerald, luckly i still have the games but i dont want to reset 700 hours and 100% completed games, being able to add twilight menu allows me to play my favorite games from when i was little again as well as modify things to the games is so amazing, thank you for these easy to follow tutorials. I plan on buying a dsi soon myself as well as a friend selling me his 3ds for 40$ so that i can play 3ds games too

Almost same story, I had a DS "tank" back in the days, I actually didn't like it too much and had very few memories (like only Pokemon 4G and Zelda). Last year, I bought a DSi, modded it and I am still playing and discovering games that I didn't play before like Mario Kart DS (I never had it before !). And I love it now, much more than the 3DS (mostly for screen quality and battery life) and even the Switch.

The dsi is one of the best consoles i own. it's a metallic blue that has alot of scratches when i was younger, i modded it with twilight menu ++ but i end up using my 3ds instead with twilight because my sd card slot won't accept a sd card half of the time. The display when playing ds games is so damn good compared to the 3ds.

I’ve had mine for 10 years, I spent hours on it, and now, the other day, I jailbroke and home brewed it, I can now play any gba or DSi games I want, like White Version 2, and Dragonball Supersonic Warriors 2

Bought my dsi XL one and a half month ago and I use it everyday. Some emulators that works well on it (they're bundled with twilightmenu) are nes, gb(c) and sega master system.

It's also not all GBA games that work on it. For example mother 3. A majority of gba games do work though. If you're having issues with the sound on some gba games and want to fix it, you should install unlaunch. That fixed the sound for me on Pokemon Emerald and FireRed.

DSi is a really good console. Havent modded my 2 dsis yet but i will be doing that soon

Runs atari 7800, all gameboy, ds obviously nes, sega master games and sega game gears all work flawlessly. Only one issue all emulators save well on all platforms except the snes emulator save states wont work so i just avoid anything snes other then that the homebrew all works great on dsi.

I like one thing about NDS that is every system comes with a stylus. Why not every mobile. It would be cool playing games on Android with a stylus. e.g plants vs Zombies.

I keep seeing people talk about twighlight mode, can u please explain to me what that is 😭 I was thinking of buying one just to play my childhood games but if there is more to it to make them work can u please tell me 😅
