I remember in middle school when the rumor was that that piece on the side was what made everything 3D, so all you had to do was take that off and it would work in a normal DS😂

My father tried this a couple of years ago. I accidentally bought a 3DS cartridge and only had a regular DS. Instead of returning it, my father decided to cut that piece of plastic off thinking it would work but of course it didn’t…

I put a Sega dreamcast disc in a 360 and a recording played and said something along the lines of "this disc is not intended for use on this device". I believe there was a message on the screen as well
