Love your channel, I’m getting jobs brought to me now that other shops can’t figure out and I’m just a shade tree since 1988. Your channel is one of the main reasons. Thank you!

I find watching SD videos help in so many ways. Strategy of diagnostics is important to me for directions to take. These videos are amazing for understanding PID values and using them for setting up the next test. The amp clamp demonstration was excellent.

Hey Paul, when you identified this toyota has no shrader valve and had narrowed it to fuel delivery I immediately started thinking pull out amp clamp This isn't a whining / narcissistic comment at all, I promise you!!! I have seen by watching to the end, your top notch diag techniques and your methods are definitely rubbing off on me and I managed to apply what you taught me in the past! Cool story, this week I helped out a colleague fix his A/C on a slick 2001 Chevy corvette that once belonged to his dad. (A genuine gem of a car - almost mint) I impressed him so much by the skills I've learned from high caliber youtube creators like yourself and Caleb.

On a final note, happy father's day to you and also to Caleb. Louis

Random, I was just thinking what if Paul hadn’t been a teacher, never bothered with the videos, books and kept his gifted knowledge to himself? How many people out here wouldn’t have known what they know now about diagnostics? 🤔. I salute and celebrate these rare beings on earth. I wish you everything that is best you, family and friends. Thank you so much for what you do.

I've actually had to replace this resistor before on a fuel pump no start but I never was able to understand the way I do now. Great explanation of wiring and electrical strategy Lmao. Being a mechanic is an everyday learn something new experience.

Can't get over your approach on every car. Best tech on the internet. You have taught me so much from when I first started tinkering at 17 to now running my own shop. Keep it up from Abes Automotive dallas GA. You make a difference. Great work always.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago that I gave up on. I am going to take another crack at it after watching this video. I would suggest putting code numbers in the description, because when I was searching for answers I don’t think I would have found this video. I just came across this by chance.

My Sienna (also 07) had the exact same symptoms that you outlined in the video. It would start up and act completely normal cold, but once it got warm, it would get starved of fuel and misfires started up. WOT and we would get nowhere, and it usually stalled. My gut told me fuel pump, but this video confirmed it. Swapped it out last night and it's running way better than before. My guess is the pump was going bad for a while and finally just started failing recently. Really in depth and informative video, I just subscribed!

Wow! Two dealerships and they couldn't fix this? Those guys are not taught well. They should have taken your course! I did. The first things that were screaming at me is fuel delivery issues. Either clogged injectors, MAF, or fuel pump.

Happy Fathers Day man. You are a great Dad from what we here and see. I am sure it is not just on here but in life. It shows by the way your son has turned out and from what we see all your kids. We don’t know you personally but we know you are a man of God. One who prays and talks about God on a very large platform and is not afraid of what it does to your likes or dislikes and followers or not. Thank you for all you do and the teacher and for being the leader you are and have been for 1000s of us out here. God Bless you and hope your mom is doing well. We pray for her and your family. your channel has been keeping me great company while I recover from Covid. Been rewatching some old videos too just for fun.
I assume the blue/yellow wire at the fuel pump relay control side must go to some type of PCM ground side control to activate it when conditions are called for?

You were in your element Paul until I saw the roses on the steering wheel. It all seemed awkward after that. Still a good video. Great job of tracking down the circuit, analyzing it and finding the issue that caused the rough running issue.
