If there isn't enough freon, sometimes the clutch will not turn on long enough to get ice cold.

My car, when the temperature outside is very hot, my A/C does not cool, but if I pour water from the hose onto the condenser or radiator, it does cool.

If your compressor is new, and Freon lvl is proper, what could cause the system to not be cold enough? The Condenser? Another component?

@goodguygto  it was low freon, I only just realised you fixed it, but it was the low freon causing the low pressure switch, and high pressure switch, to not complete the circuit, for some reason, making the AC compressor clutch, engage only for 30 seconds, then disengage, for example, there fore not long enough to get ice cold.

My ac is currently blowing ICE cold when she feels like it(betsy baby is my cars name😂), then once i turn off the car or leave it off for a while it starts back blowing hot ass air🙄💀💀, have it at midas now(as i type this) so hope its not anything major😢

My 2015 Camry Hybrid AC blows cold upon driving and hot or just regular air with idle. The Freon is accurate, the fan and its motor working great.
Any idea what’s going on ?

I have a Kia soul 2012. 2.0L and the compressor are leaking a yellow liquid for some time. I've tried to seal it with RTV silicone, but I think is not working. Do you think I need to replace the compressor? This car has only 73 K miles, so why you think is leaking? We are in winter so we don't use it too much for now, but in summer this place will get 105 to 115 degrees.

Mines randomly stops blowing cold air. It does it mainly in the day. At night it rarely does it. I wanna say low freon since I got the car with 87k miles and already at 145 3 years. I drive a lot and always use my AC. In the day with sun blasting in Houston. AC is close to non existent. How much would this job cost?
