How do you feel about ZZZ compared to WuWa?

I felt like after spending 12 hours on ZZZ, I've already spent enough time.

Time is in my eyes a currency, and continuing to play a game I don't enjoy in the hopes it might get better is a prime example of the sunk cost fallacy.

I've got better things to spend my time on.

First 4hrs of ZZZ impression:
- TV simulator
- Combat --> Loading --> Yapping --> Loading -->Teleport --> Loading

I find it crazy that the beta testers told them about the TV problem, , they reduced the "TV problem" by 50% and it still turned players away from completing the story. Imagine if they didnt reduce it by 50%

Wuwa set the new bar for standards of new upcoming gacha in terms of combat quality and thats reality.

I think Kuro has figured out a very sensible gacha system.

They almost give characters away for free because getting to play with them keeps the entire playerbase happy. Medium spenders will pay up for more resources to lessen the grind. And big spenders will pay for more pulls and duplicates to max out characters.

WuWa clears. Played ZZZ as a beta tester. Clearly the hyv didn’t take into account that just zooming around a tv 70% creates brainrot. That clicking one button for everything in combat creates brainrot. Finally, that enemies just standing around creates brainrot.

Also, who the hell decided that we have to spend for characters that we’ll only see like 5% of the time?

WuWa clears. I honestly do think if this game came out before WuWa it might have been somewhat decent. But WuWa set the bar so damn high its not even funny, every hoyo game just feels so boring compared to WuWa

For me, combat system of ww just like a bag of lego. You can play by many style as you want. While in zzz case. It was a jigsaw puzzle bag. You forced to play the way mhy want you to play.

ZZZ is a lot of very pretty style with little meaningful substance, while WUWA overall feels like a well balanced package.

ZZZ literally makes you feel like one of the operators in the Matrix. You know, those guys who just stare at letters in a computer screen while everyone else is doing the cool stuff

WuWa would win with just for the hard pity at 80 and the absence of 50/50 on the limited weapon banner, but the thing is that it's really fun to play as well.

If ZZZ wasn't made by HV, no one would even give a shit about it. HV just relies on their marketing power to push this shit to people who don't even spend 10 mins googling actually good games.

As much as I hate to admit it... this is basically a "To Each their Own" scenario. I admit the game was enjoyable, but once you played wuwa... you just... you'll always come back.. what made me enjoy wuwa was its like a souls-like game, albeit it's far more forgiving compared to other souls/souls-like game. ZZZ, on the other hand was felt like there's not a lot of thought put into it besides their "attention to details", designs and gameplay.. it's like a desperate attempt to get all their players back to hoyo, seeing how there is a competition now

Edit: To clarify... The End game Difficulty and Fighting mechanics is more or less similar to the elements of a souls-like game... if I can compare wuwa to a well know game.. that would be DMC. I stand corrected on claiming it is a Souls Like game... I just meant to say that wuwa incorporates *Souls-Like Elements* In the end... wuwa is basicslly a Toned down Dmc

ZZZ is exactly what I feared it would be, a fake action game. Mechanics like the switching and the parries remove player autonomy because it's a lot easier to power creep a system like that and make people spend more. The actual action gameplay, when you finally get through the TVs and get to it, would rather make you look cool so the game can hide how little choices you have while playing, and distract you from the mediocre action by making it look cooler then it actually is.

Thank god WuWa showed up right before it did.

Explaining the handholding that ZZZ does really put it in perspective for me. It felt so simplified despite walls of text on skill descriptions. I’m trying to like it but it’s keeps taking control away from me while trying to convince me it’s not the case and it’s just helping. Thank you for putting it into words.

I honestly want tectonic to actually watch this because this is actually the reason why people don’t like ZZZ and it makes sense and honestly, I was having that frustration the game shot I didn’t feel like it was something good I hate the TV. Honestly the TV was so annoying. I felt like the combat like you have to switch double characters and all it’s like oh you have to to be honest, this is why I didn’t like the game. I didn’t even continue after that. I went back to WuWa
