ZZZ is like a mini-game within Wuthering Waves. I think WW would be fine. Sure, the probability that ZZZ will garner more players is higher considering it's a hoyo game. But when we objectively consider which factors makes a great game, WW has nothing to worry about compared to ZZZ.

The main playerbase of Zzz will be mostly hoyo fans who are intrested in furries. Meanwhile Wuwa playerbase is mixture of genshin, pgr, other gacha games. I think they will have very small overlap of players.

GENUINELY, I like both. The combat in both games looks amazing.
Another thing, I still remember when people, and a lot of CCs, were calling HSR "Borring" just because it was turn-based, and now they are calling ZZZ "Boring" because of the TV's

The biggest advantage that ZZZ has is that it's a hoyoverse game just this alone is enough to thrive because of how dedicated their fanbase is they have three other games and the fanbase over there are bound to come over whether it is good or not it Will have its playerbase
