The most terrifying part of this entire episode was, "This time, there's Three of Us". Imagine that from the Dalek's perspective. Here you are, destroying the only things preventing you from your ethnic cleansing of the universe, and three of the one person you fear above everything just show up to kill you.

The pain and gratitude War Doctor has in that "thank you". Hes gotten some peace over his actions in that his successors admit he fought for their promise the hardest

I love that she says “that’s gonna happen” with Tennant right beside her.

Clara caused this. If it weren't for her, they would've destroyed Gallifey - again!
Too many in the fandom hate on Clara, she does not deserve that. She is one of the greatest companions, only just behind Martha Jones and Sarah Jane.

John Hurt was a great Doctor, would loved to have seen him in a spin off of the War Doctor years Great actor RIP.

Also underrated how Murray Gold repurposed the music in this scene as a theme for the 12th doctor, notably the music when he's pounding on the diamond wall in Heaven Sent and from the scene he regenerates in.

@ 4:15
10th: Did you just say… “Bad Wolf”?
11th: Even now, Rose is still helping me? Oh god bless her!

It's honestly a really great and powerful scene. I love how the end of galifrey by the doctor was such a strong narrative and seeing him in the final moment actually saying no and changing it all was one of the best an most emotional plottwists and I am so happy that we get to see all of them alive and well after all and see how the doctor interacts with the saved timelor [CHIBNALL] ...oh come

I like to think that the Rose they were talking to was not the bomb, she was the bad wolf. When Rose looked into the Tardis and became the bad Wolf. she existed everywhere in time and saw what the Doctor had done. So she went back and saved him from becoming a murderer and then saved him again at the space station.

You weren't there in the final days of the War. You never saw what was born. But if the Timelock's broken, then everything's coming through. Not just the Daleks, but the Skaro Degradations, the Horde of Travesties, the Nightmare Child, the Could-have-been King with his army of Meanwhiles and Never-weres. The War turned into hell.

So what happened to the rest of them?

I see a few people saying it as well but I never noticed until now 12ths theme (or at least something that sounds very much like it) is in the background when 11 says he's changed his mind, the violins at 3:41 are unforgettable. Damn Murray Gold was brilliant, right up there why New Who was so popular.

Did anyone else notice Tennants accidental(?) rude gesture to the Daleks, as he is explaining the about the Daleks shooting each other with Gallifrey frozen in time...?

Can't believe I haven't noticed how at 3:28 it starts playing "The Shepherd's Boy"

The promise should've been. Never cruel or cowardly, never give up hope, never give in to hate and always look for other ways to help. Never be afraid of what may happen.

I love how Clara singles out her doctor. That he's neither the Soldier or the Hero, that he's the Doctor. It maybe shows how the 11th might finally be healed, as much as someone might be from burning your own people. The 9th was still to fresh from the war, and the 10th never could let it go, it was always still inside of him right beneath the surface. But maybe, just maybe, the 11th is over it. He might finally be back to being the "true" doctor.
