Windows 7 Build 7000

This is Windows 7 Build 7000 in VMware Workstation. This is the official beta which was compiled on 2008-12-12 and "expires" on 2009-07-01. This build has an expiration date, but it doesn't actually stop you from using the OS after that date so you don't need to set a BIOS date.

How I got this to run.
Set backwards compatibility with VMware Workstation version 10 and use all of the default settings. To get Aero to work, use the VMware Workstation 11 WDDM driver. For the base system device, use the VMware Workstation 7.0 VMCI driver.

Windows 7 build 7000 is the official Beta release of Windows 7, released to the public on 7 January 2009. Prior to its release, this build was claimed to have been leaked online on or before 21 December 2008. This build was released in English, German, and Japanese.

Oh Yeah Windows 7 exist on 2008 while the RTM is on 2009. Just a question ? Why Windows xp is still widely used in 2008 while Windows 7 came out in there ? I know there are a lot of Vista haters back in 2008. But There's actually a New OS. It's Windows 7 Build 7000. Anyways this is interesting

Fact:
In the early episodes of Inanimate Insanity, the default wallpaper for build 7000 is the source of MePhone 4's screen (top right!)




Or at least... it is close to the screen. I have not done a digital comparison myself, but I will soon

Can you give me a link to the drivers you used for that please? (Update, I was able to download it from a link to somebody's reply but it was not working out like it was supposed to. So, I put the link to find the vmware tools versions in internet explorer and downloaded the vmware 11 driver which worked better than how you did it in this one.)

Bugs is increasing size causing bsod on this build. That someone found a bug then was uploaded from 2009.
